Where Food Comes From Inc. (WFCF) has launched RaiseWell Certified, a new standard designed to elevate animal care, verified natural-raising practices and end-to-end supply chain transparency.
The program requires responsible animal care at every life stage, prohibits the use of antibiotics and added growth hormones and verifies animals back to the farm of origin. It delivers third-party verified claims, source-verified livestock, transparent documentation and USDA-aligned on-pack seals.
The standard also integrates with WFCF’s CARE Certified program, allowing producers and retailers to bundle verified claims into a single, audit-ready package covering animal care and environmental stewardship.
