Two Oklahoma men arrested for cattle theft

Two Oklahoma men were arrested following an investigation into the alleged theft and sale of nine yearlings belonging to their employer in July.

Jonathan Rosas and Edward Marques, both from Felt, OK, surrendered to the Cimarron County Sheriff’s Office Sept. 10 on charges of stealing nine yearlings.

Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) Special Ranger Lynn Mays led the investigation, with assistance from Special Ranger Chris Ward and Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Special Agent Paul Cornett. TSCRA also credited local law enforcement and prosecutors for their assistance in the investigation.
