The Make America Beautiful Again (MABA) Commission launched MABA 250, a strategic conservation initiative chaired by Department of the Interior Secretary Doug Burgum.
The effort is intended to guide conservation policy while promoting outdoor recreation and resource development. MABA 250 outlines priorities that include balancing stewardship with economic growth, expanding access for hunting and fishing, increasing voluntary conservation, reducing regulatory barriers and supporting species recovery and habitat management.
The commission will release a report outlining accomplishments during the opening of the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library as part of America 250 commemorations in July.
