The Colorado Department of Agriculture (CDA) secured $13.7 million from the Natural Resources Conservation Service to expand markets for Colorado agricultural commodities grown with conservation practices.
The Advancing Markets for Producers program (formerly known as the Partnership for Climate Smart Commodities) provides funding in the form of direct-to-producer grants between $20,000 and $300,000.
The funding will be directed through existing CDA grant programs, which includes Colorado Proud, Colorado State Conservation Board grants, Climate Resilience Grant Program and others.
