The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR), coordinating with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and NOAA Fisheries, will implement temporary flow adjustments at Link River Dam and Keno Dam to reduce salmon disease risk in the Klamath River.
From Feb. 20 to March 3, flows below Keno Dam will peak at 4,640 cubic feet per second (cfs) for 24 hours, then taper to 750 cfs. According to BOR, the flushing flow meets Endangered Species Act requirements under the 2024 Biological Opinions and state law.
