The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) is investing $200 million in water reuse projects in Arizona and Utah to support long-term drought resilience in the Colorado River Basin.

Phoenix will receive $179 million for its North Gateway Advanced Water Purification Facility, which will treat 8 million gallons of water per day for reuse and recycling.

In Utah, $20.6 million will support Washington County’s regional reuse system to establish a drought-resistant local water supply.
