The two beef programs under Tyson Foods’ Chairman’s Reserve brand will become exclusively Angus this spring. The program will be under the USDA’s upper one-third Choice Angus beef category.
A recent study by Tyson Fresh Meats found that 96 percent of consumers recognize the term “Angus beef” and associate the term with quality.
“We are proud to offer an Angus product that meets our high standards and helps our retail and foodservice customers meet consumers’ demands,” said Ozlem Worpel, director of Fresh Meats Marketing at Tyson Fresh Meats.
