USDA is making $35 million available for partnerships to combat feral swine, part of a broader $105 million investment through the Feral Swine Eradication and Control Pilot Program.
Administered by USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, the program supports projects in 14 states to reduce damage to agriculture, natural resources and livestock. Selected partners will help landowners with trapping, restoration and training efforts through grant agreements with NRCS.
