The U.S. and China have agreed to reduce tariffs for 90 days.

On May 12, officials announced that the U.S. will reduce tariffs on Chinese imports from 145% to 30%, and China will reduce retaliatory tariffs from 125% to 10%.

“Although this is a temporary pause, we are hopeful that it is the first step toward restoring access to China for U.S. pork and beef,” said the U.S. Meat Export Federation.
