EPA seeks nominations for farm advisory committee

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has opened nominations for its Farm, Ranch, and Rural Communities Federal Advisory Committee.

Established in 2008, the committee provides independent advice to the EPA administrator on environmental policies and programs affecting agriculture and rural communities. Members offer insight into issues uniquely relevant to farming, ranching and rural economies, informing agency decision-making. To ensure broad representation, EPA seeks nominees from farming and ranching, allied agricultural industries, academia, research, and state, local and Tribal governments.

Applications must be submitted to FRRCC@epa.gov by March 2 for consideration.
