The California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) has released its draft Climate Resilience Strategy for California Agriculture for public comment submissions through Nov. 7.
The plan outlines how farmers, ranchers and agricultural communities can prepare for climate impacts under three pillars: supporting a resilient food sector, protecting natural systems and encouraging climate-smart practices. It identifies gaps, recommends actions and aligns with statewide goals to enhance technical assistance and innovation.
