The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) issued a decision for the Flanigan Grazing Allotment Grazing Permit Renewal Environmental Assessment.
The allotment is about 50 miles north of Reno, NV, and encompasses 55,071 acres of BLM‑managed public lands and 41,414 acres of private land, totaling 96,592 acres.
Renewing a 10-year grazing permit on the allotment was found to have no significant impact, and up to 4,843 animal unit months were authorized for year-round grazing across the allotment’s three pastures.
