America’s Heartland Packing, a cattle processing facility, is slated to open in April, according to Meat+Poultry.
The Warren County, MO, facility will feature a 775,000-square-foot facility with harvest, fabrication, processing and storage capabilities. It aims to process over 2,400 cattle daily. As the fresh meats division of American Foods Group, it will supply quality beef to food service, retail and international markets.
American Foods Group, a family-owned company based in Green Bay, WI, operates America’s Service Line, Calihan Pork Processors and Midwest Express LLC with 4,500 employees.
