Niman Ranch, based in Alameda, CA, recently announced its first Canadian partnership with independently-owned purveyor, Macgregors Meat & Seafood Ltd. The Canadian company will be the first and only company to offer Natural by Niman Ranch products, a Certified Angus Beef brand in Canada that is also 100 percent Certified Humane. Macgregors will be managing all aspects of the Niman Ranch program internally from box ready to dry aging to hand-butchered in a newly constructed and segregated portion of its facility. — WLJ
