USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced Aug. 7 that a Florida-based company was recalling nearly 30,000 pounds of raw beef products imported from Argentina without benefit of import reinspection in the U.S.
The beef products were sold by Corte Argentino USA of Aventura, FL, and were produced between May 15 and May 20 and distributed in Florida and Texas. Product labels include “top sirloin butt,” “eye round,” “topside cap off,” “flat” and “knuckle.” The products contain the establishment number “EST. N° OF. 2025” and shipping mark “26644-AA.”
There have been no reports of illness or injury, but consumers are urged to return products to the place of purchase or throw them away.
