The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is accepting applications for the Agricultural Conservation Easement Program (ACEP) in Nevada, which supports landowners, Tribes and partners in conserving wetlands, grasslands and farmlands.

Eligible entities, such as state or local agencies, Tribes and non-profits, can assist landowners with applications. ACEP safeguards agricultural viability by limiting nonagricultural uses, conserving grazing lands and restoring wetlands. Private landowners, including Tribal members, are eligible.

Although applications are accepted year-round, Nevada producers should apply by Feb. 19 to be considered for fiscal year 2025 funding. More information can be found at tinyurl.com/5t48f2tw.
