The USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS), in partnership with the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), is surveying nearly 23,000 farmers, ranchers and landowners for the 2025 Conservation Effects Assessment Project.
The survey, conducted from November to March 2026, will collect data on tillage, irrigation, chemical use and conservation installations.
Local NASS staff will visit farms in August and September to determine eligibility. Findings will guide NRCS programs that protect natural resources and support informed, science-backed management decisions for producers.
If you have questions about the survey, please contact NASS at 888-424-7828 or visit nass.usda.gov.
