The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is extending the comment period for the Draft Rock Springs Resource Management Plan, draft environmental impact statement and proposed areas of critical environmental concern for the Rock Springs Field Office in Wyoming.
The commenting period now closes on Jan. 17, 2024, after Gov. Mark Gordon (R) requested more time.
“The purpose of the land use plan is to establish guidance, objectives, policies, and management actions for public lands administered by the Rock Springs Field Office,” BLM said. “The plan is comprehensive and will resolve and address issues that are identified through agency, interagency and public input.”
