The Bureau of Reclamation announced continued public negotiations with the Sites Project Authority on a partnership agreement for the proposed Sites Reservoir Project.

The 1.5-million-acre-foot offstream reservoir, planned about 10 miles west of Maxwell, CA, aims to expand regional water storage. Negotiations outline terms for capacity interest and partnership responsibilities.

The next session is scheduled for Sept. 23 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. PST at the Tehama Colusa Canal Authority office in Willows, CA.
