The Red Angus Association of America (RAAA) renamed its Feeder Calf Certification Program (FCCP) to Angus Access.
The program, in place for over 30 years, continues to meet USDA-approved standards for genetic, age and source verification. The association said the program helps Red Angus producers connect with beef programs that recognize Angus genetics.
“This program has always been about creating opportunity for commercial cattlemen,” said RAAA President Kyley DeVoe. “Angus Access builds on that legacy, giving Red Angus producers a clear path to premium markets and rewarding those who invest in quality and accountability.”
The new name supports efforts to include Red Angus cattle in Angus-branded programs and aligns with growing demand for traceability, verified production and reliable data in the beef industry.
