Ranchers-Cattlemen Action Legal Fund, USA (R-CALF) submitted comments to United States Trade Representative Jamieson Greer, calling for the suspension of Brazilian beef imports.
The request comes following Greer’s launch of a Section 301 investigation into Brazilian trading practices. “Brazilian beef imports should not be resumed until the U.S. conducts a thorough, probing investigation into Brazil’s entire beef production and beef processing acts, policies, and practices,” the group said in its comments.
