Plant-based beverage company Elmhurst Milked recently previewed six new beverage varieties at the Natural Products Expo East conference in Baltimore, MD. The new products include Milked Peanuts, Milked Oats and Milked Brown Rice. A company press release said the new varieties will be available to the public beginning in November. Elmhurst began in the 1920s as a traditional dairy in the Elmhurst neighborhood of Queens, NY, hand-bottling and delivering milk throughout Brooklyn and Queens. The company recently made a major shift to enter the plant-based revolution, processing nut milks without the emulsifiers, thickeners or stabilizers used in other leading brands.
