Oklahoma State University (OSU) has selected sites in Stillwater, OK, for a new veterinary teaching hospital and Agronomy Discovery Center.
The 275,000-square-foot veterinary hospital will be built on part of OSU’s Agronomy Research Station. The $330 million project received $250 million in state funding in 2025, with private support planned for remaining costs.
Agronomy operations displaced by the hospital will move to the new Agronomy Discovery Center, with the legislature providing $40 million for the project, including $10 million that must be matched through private donations by July 2027. As of Sept. 1, donors had pledged $8.7 million.
The Magruder Plots and surrounding farmland will remain at the existing research station.
