The Nebraska Beef Council has launched a program called the Good Life Good Steaks Beef Passport program in order to help encourage beef consumption in the state.
Under the program, Nebraskans can qualify for prizes by eating at 41 participating restaurants across the state that serve beef. Diners will earn a stamp on their passport for each qualifying restaurant they visit through Sept. 27.
Gov. Pete Ricketts (R) endorsed the program, stating at a May Beef Month ceremony, “Nebraska has long been known as the Beef State. The new Beef Passport program gives Nebraskans the opportunity to support our ranchers by dining on delicious cuts of Nebraska beef.”
