Legal Ledger Brief: CO wolf initiative to go to ballot

The Rocky Mountain Wolf Action Fund submitted more than 200,000 signatures in favor of putting wolf introduction on the Colorado 2020 ballot.

Petitioners had six months to obtain 124,632 signatures in support of the initiative.

This would mark the first time voters will decide on the introduction of wolves, and if passed in November 2020, the state must introduce wolves to the state by the end of 2023.
