King Ranch invests in Cobalt Cattle

King Ranch Inc. has announced its acquisition of a 50% stake in Cobalt Cattle, the nation’s fourth-largest cattle feeding operation, boasting six feedyards across Colorado, Kansas and Texas.

According to the announcement, the partnership signifies a significant milestone for Cobalt Cattle Company. AGR Partners—a specialist food and agribusiness investor and equity partner in Cobalt—is looking forward to partnering with King Ranch.

“We are excited about this opportunity and what it means for King Ranch’s long-term commitment to the beef industry,” said Robert Hodgen, CEO of King Ranch, Inc. “Cobalt Cattle is a clear leader in the cattle feeding sector with a highly seasoned and experienced management team.
