Idaho ground beef recalled for E. coli

CS Beef Packers LLC, a Kuna, ID, establishment, is recalling about 22,912 pounds of raw ground beef that may be contaminated with E. coli O145, according to the Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).

The products were produced Jan. 14 and include 10-pound chubs labeled “Beef, Coarse ground, 73L”; “Fire River Farms Classic Beef Fine Ground 73L”; and “Fire River Farms Classic Beef Fine Ground 81L”. The items bear the establishment number EST. 630 inside the USDA mark of inspection.

They were shipped to distributors in California, Idaho and Oregon. FSIS advises foodservice locations not to serve the products and to discard or return them. No confirmed illnesses have been reported.
