Frye joins WLJ as commercial advertising representative

Lanette Frye

Western Livestock Journal is pleased to welcome Lanette Frye to the team as its commercial advertising representative. With a considerable background in the advertising industry, Frye will play a critical role in expanding the publication’s commercial relationships and enhancing its advertising portfolio.

“Lanette’s experience and expertise are invaluable, but her genuine kindness and caring nature fits so well with the culture at WLJ,” said Logan Ipsen, WLJ president. “She is a natural leader, and we look forward to what she will add to an already talented team. We couldn’t be more excited to have her aboard!”

Frye was raised in Worland, WY, where she grew up on a commercial cow-calf operation. She attended Northwest College and the University of Wyoming, competing on the livestock judging teams before earning her agricultural business degree.

Frye has three decades of experience in the print advertising industry. She played an instrumental role in the development and growth of Working Ranch Magazine during her 15-year tenure. She also brings a wealth of experience from the newspaper sector, having worked with the Wyoming Livestock Roundup for an extensive period. Prior to joining WLJ, she served as the director of marketing and sales for the Grant Company.

Frye currently resides in Three Forks, MT, with her husband, Ron, and has three children, Randy, Kyle and Jillian. She and Ron operate a small herd of registered Angus cattle, and jointly run Ron Frye Marketing. In her personal time, she enjoys showing and riding cow horses.

“I am excited to work with this team and what I can offer people,” Frye said. “I truly believe in helping people and the success of their business. I think integrity in this business is all you have and that’s important.”

Frye’s role began Dec. 4. She may be reached at lanette@wlj.net or 406-855-3172.
