The Center for Biological Diversity has filed two more petitions and one lawsuit to protect four species under the Endangered Species Act (ESA).

The organization filed a petition with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) to protect the Oregon Ochoco lomatium flower, a petition with the California Fish and Game Commission to protect the Pacific pocket mouse under the state’s ESA, and a lawsuit against USFWS to protect the Kern Canyon slender salamander and relictual slender salamander in California.
