Comment extension on NEPA amendments

WLJ
Aug. 06, 2018 1 minute read

The Council on Environmental Quality has been seeking stakeholder comment on its proposed rule to update implementing regulations for the procedural provisions of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). The proposal effectively codifies numerous non-binding guidances issued over the past four decades that have informed the council’s interpretation of NEPA implementation but have not been part of the Act. Comments were originally due July 20, but the comment period has been extended to Aug. 20. They can be submitted online here. — WLJ
