ClimateEngine.org, a collaborative effort among researchers at several organizations and federal agencies, launched a user-friendly interface for accessing satellite and climate data for resource managers.

The platform’s new publicly accessible feature aims to provide comprehensive reports for all Bureau of Land Management-managed lands in the contiguous U.S., integrating scalable drought summaries and real-time vegetation conditions. Through a partnership with the National Integrated Drought Information System, Climate Engine offers higher spatial resolution drought indicators, aiding in long-term and short-term drought monitoring and management. These resources, together with satellite-based vegetation data from the Rangeland Analysis Platform, give users precise, up-to-date information to inform decision-making and enhance drought response strategies.

At support.climateengine.org, users can access comprehensive guidelines for utilizing the reports, tutorials, dataset and metric explanations, troubleshooting suggestions and responses to commonly asked questions.
