On July 23, Chomps opened a 300,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Mexico, MO, in partnership with Western Smokehouse Partners (WSP).
The facility, operated by WSP and dedicated to Chomps production, is expected to add about 250 full-time jobs. The investment supports Chomps’ goal of increasing output and meeting growing consumer demand. Chomps President and Chief Operating Officer Elizabeth Carter called the opening an important step for the company and its partnership with WSP.
An open house marked the occasion, drawing local officials and community members, including Mexico City Manager Bruce Slagle and Michelle Hataway from the Missouri Department of Economic Development.
