Chomps beef sticks recalled for metal 

USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced that Idaho Smokehouse Partners LLC is recalling 29,541 pounds of ready-to-eat beef sticks due to possible metal contamination.

The affected product, “Chomps Original Beef Stick Mild,” was produced from Jan. 13-15 and has an expiration date of 02-10-2026 with lot code 25016. Bearing establishment number “6220A,” these items were distributed in California and Illinois.

Consumers should not eat them and are advised to discard or return the product.
