Certified Angus Beef (CAB) closed its 2024 fiscal year with its second-highest sales in company history, selling 1.237 billion pounds of beef across the U.S. and 55 other countries.
Despite a 1.6% decline in total fed cattle supply, a record 5.96 million carcasses, or 37.4% of all Angus cattle, met the brand’s standards. CAB Prime sales hit a new milestone with 730,000 qualifying carcasses and 50.5 million lbs. sold—a 22.5% increase.
CAB’s foodservice sector grew significantly, while value-added products like smoked brisket and beef bacon saw strong demand, driving growth in domestic and international markets.
