The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) approved its resource management plan and record of decision for the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument.
The plan will guide the management of 113,500 acres in southwestern Oregon. The approved plan is nearly identical to the proposed plan with a few formatting and editorial changes. The plan includes land use allocations, objectives and management direction. The approved plan allocates lands currently available for livestock grazing and would integrate outcome-based management techniques to protect objects and values. The plan is final and was effective as of its signing.
