Beef Bits Brief: FPL expands Georgia facility

FPL Food LLC, a vertically-integrated beef processor, secured the financing on a multi-phase expansion of the company’s facility in Augusta, GA.

FPL said the expansion would provide needed capacity to meet the growing demand for its vertically-integrated beef brands, including Chвtel Farms, True To Nature and Southern River Farms Natural Beef.

“Our company’s vision has always been to be a premier cattle producer and beef processor supporting Southeastern U.S. agriculture and providing premium quality beef to meet demand from our growing customer base,” said Francois Leger, FPL Food founder and chief executive officer to Meat + Poultry. “This expansion brings that vision to reality.”
