The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association’s (NCBA) Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) program recently developed a Daily Biosecurity Plan for Disease Prevention template.
The template is fully customizable and gives ranchers the opportunity to access the information needed to implement biosecurity plans covering everything from animal movement to worker training.
According to a press release by BQA, “the tool emphasizes why biosecurity is vital on cattle operations and provides an opportunity for producers to have conversations with their herd veterinarians, extension agents, and state BQA coordinators about biosecurity preparedness.
The tool is available as a PDF or can be printed for handwritten plans and can be found at bqa.org/resources/templates-assessments.
