Valley International Cold Storage Acquisition LLC is recalling approximately 22,000 pounds of frozen beef products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens, USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced. The products are labeled “Healthy Choice Power Bowls Korean-Style Beef” with lot code 5246220320 and a “best if used by” date of April 18, 2023. The product contains a chicken sausage and pepper product along with milk, which was not declared on the label.

FSIS also announced Behrmann Meat and Processing Inc. is recalling approximately 87,300 lbs. of various ready-to-eat (RTE) meat products that may be contaminated with listeria. The different RTE meat items include a large variety of products that were produced from July 7, 2022, to Sept. 9, 2022, and bear the establishment number “EST 20917” inside the USDA mark of inspection. FSIS is concerned that some products may be in consumers’ pantries, refrigerators or freezers.
Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
