Barb Standage joined the American Gelbvieh Association as office operations coordinator on March 23.
Standage hails from Nebraska and lives close to her family’s farm near Eagle, where she and her husband manage the commercial cow-calf operation in addition to other crops.
“I’m absolutely delighted to join the AGA and the people within the organization. I’ve long looked for the perfect position in animal agriculture and am excited to use all my skills along with learning more about the Gelbvieh breed, and the services the AGA offers its members,” said Standage.
In her new role, she will organize and process accounts payable and accounts receivable, assist members and stakeholders with the AGA registry, and assist in administrative tasks.
“Barb brings a wealth of experience in office administration and she will be a complementary fit to the skilled staff already in place at the AGA,” says Megan Slater, AGA executive director.
