The Montana Cowboy Hall of Fame and Western Heritage Center honored its 12th class of inductees during the 14th Annual Western Heritage Gathering in Great Falls, MT.
Almost 600 people attended the weekend’s events, and 24 inductees were welcomed to the Hall of Fame.
Inductees were as follows: District 1—Arvid and Linda (Lee) Eggen, Benjamin S. Stevens; District 2—Bill and Alice Cullinan, Martha Magnuson Kempton; District 3—John L. Moore, Joseph H. “Proc” Proctor; District 4—Arthur “Wade” Bickford, Charles Leon “Charlie” Floyd; District 5—Wylie Galt Gustafson, Belknap “Ballie” Buck; District 6—Virginia (Mortensen) Howell, Z6 Ranch-J.C. Jensen, Inc.; District 7—William E. “Billy” Greenough, Ruth E. (French) Smith Curen Weber; District 8—Donald Edward “Don” Blixt, Hester Ann (Allemand) Rea; District 9—James Eugene “Jim” Carrig, Theodore “Ted” Hamilton Thorpe; District 10—Walter J. “Walt” Vermedahl, Quirk Cattle Co.-101 Ranch; District 11—Walter E. “Wally” Congdon, Alex Nixon “Alec” Ogilvie; District 12—Iola “Olie” Else, Pleasant View Ranch/Jackson Morgan Horse Ranch.
