The American Simmental Association (ASA) elected its new board of trustees during its 54th annual meeting, held virtually in January.
Barry Wesner, Chalmers, IN, was formally seated as chairman of the board, succeeding Randy Moody, New Market, AL.
Additional executive committee appointments include: Vice Chairman Doug Parke, Paris, KY; Treasurer Steve Eichacker, Salem, SD; Immediate Past Chairman Moody, New Market, AL; and Brandon Callis, Minco, OK.
Newcomers to the board include Joseph Hensgens, Rayne, LA; Maureen Mai, Bonners Ferry, ID; Ryan Thorson, Glendive, MT; and Loren Trauernicht, Wymore, NE.
