Arrests made in TX, OK cattle thefts

An investigation by Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) Special Ranger John Vance led to two arrests and two warrants for men involved in stealing 82 cattle.

Joey Dickey was arrested in Wise County, TX, and Brian Tribble was arrested in Tarrant County, TX. Warrants were also issued for Braxton Calvert and Timothy Greer. In November, a TSCRA market inspector identified a stolen cow at a West Texas sale barn, leading to a suspect. Vance and local detectives gathered evidence, obtained witness statements and conducted interviews, connecting multiple cases across four counties in Texas and Oklahoma to the individuals.

TSCRA thanks the Cherokee and Wise County sheriff’s offices for their work in the investigation.
