American Farmers Network (AFN) announced the acquisition of Open Range Beef (ORB) of Gordon, NE, to expand domestic grass-fed and organic beef processing.

The move strengthens AFN’s vertically integrated system by connecting ranchers, harvesting, fabrication, further processing and national distribution. AFN said the acquisition secures year-round U.S.-based processing for retail, foodservice, institutional and e-commerce markets.

“ORB’s culture of quality aligns perfectly with AFN’s model,” said Sanin Mirvic, AFN founder and chairman. “This acquisition deepens our capacity, extends our reach, and cements AFN’s position in domestic grass-fed and organic beef,” ensuring reliable processing and steady supply for partners across the beef supply chain.
