The California Department of Food and Agriculture announced an opening on the Livestock Identification Advisory Board (LIAB).
The LIAB recommends hide and brand laws, curbing livestock theft; procedures followed by the Bureau of Livestock Identification; and the program’s annual budget to the Agriculture secretary.
The position is for one beef cattle producer to serve a term of four years.
