The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) is seeking public input on its Endangered Species Act Section 10(a) program.
The agency said it is dedicated to more effectively supporting conservation efforts while addressing the needs of landowners, industry and local communities. Section 10(a)(1)(A) encourages voluntary conservation of listed and at-risk species on non-federal lands. Section 10(a)(1)(B) allows incidental take permits and associated habitat conservation plans.
