USDA reminds producers to file acreage report 

The Crop Compare spreadsheet helps farmers compare cropping alternatives using the direct costs and yields from the 2024 projected crop budgets for North Dakota.

After spring planting is complete, farmers should contact their local Farm Service Agency (FSA) office to schedule an appointment and submit their crop acreage reports.

While July 15 is a key deadline for many crops, specific dates vary by crop and county. FSA Administrator Bill Beam urges producers to report all planted, failed and prevented acreage to ensure access to safety net, disaster and crop insurance programs.
