In late November, USDA announced the launch of a unified New World screwworm (NWS) website, screwworm.gov.
The new site centralizes NWS information from across the federal government. “We are grateful for the robust interagency collaboration, and we continue to work every day with our state and industry partners to implement our screwworm plan,” said USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins in a statement. “This is a national security priority and it has the full attention of our team.”
The website contains resources for livestock producers, veterinarians, animal health officials, the general public and others.
