USDA is issuing more than $235 million to farmers and ranchers affected by natural disasters.

Payments include $143 million in crop insurance indemnities for Florida producers hit by Hurricane Milton, and $92 million for livestock producers across the country who have faced higher supplemental feed costs from forage losses due to 2022 drought and wildfires.

Livestock producer payments are through the Emergency Livestock Relief Program 2022 and are a second round of payments to ranchers using remaining funds in the program.
