In early June, Stephen Vaden was confirmed as deputy secretary of the USDA and David Fotouhi was confirmed as deputy administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
“Mr. Vaden has spent his career immersed in trade issues and fighting for farmers and ranchers,” said National Cattlemen’s Beef Association Senior Vice President of Government Affairs Ethan Lane.
“Mr. Fotouhi has a wealth of experience in environmental law and will be a key leader for ensuring the EPA returns to its core mission of protecting natural resources rather than obstructing family farmers and ranchers.”
