The U.S. and China have come to an agreement to extend a truce on tariffs for another 90 days.
In his Aug. 11 executive order, President Donald Trump wrote that additional tariffs have been suspended until Nov. 10. The U.S. will keep its 30% tariff on Chinese imports while China will keep their 10% tariff on U.S. goods. The suspension will allow more time for talks about “remedying trade imbalances” and “unfair trade practices,” the White House said.
